What Accessories are available for Batting Helmets?
Batting helmets are able to be fitted with Jaw Guards and wire Face Grills to offer the batter extra protection. These accessories are compatible with specific helmets and are not interchangeable between brands of models.
Wire guards can be specific for softball or baseball due to the vatiances in the ball diameter.
Jaw guards are usually offered in Left Hand Batter or Right Hand Batter variations. They are easily attached with 2 screws to the existing holes in the helmet. Rawlings produce an adjustable extension to provide the batter with enhanced visibility and protection.
