I just started playing, Do I need to buy a bat?

It is a personal choice but we generally suggest waiting a while and trying a few different bats that the team provides if possible. After you have attended some training sessions and played a few games you will have a better idea of your bat requirements. 

Make a note of the length and weight of the bats you have been using.
